Fresno Colleges - Fresno City CollegeFresno City College was established in 1910 and was California's first community college. It offers associate degrees in Arts and Science in Associate Technology, Business to Social Science.
The college's history began in 1907 through the efforts of C. L. McLane, then the superintendent of schools for the city of Fresno.
Initially called Fresno Junior College, the first class consisted of 20 students and three instructors. The school has grown by leaps and bounds since then, with enrollment exceeding 20,000 students each year.
