Fresno Pacific University
Fresno Pacific University began as Pacific Bible Institute in 1944 with seven staff members and 28 students in a single building.Today, there are more than 200 faculty and staff members with over 2,000 students in 16 major buildings on a 42-acre campus.
Bachelor of Arts degrees were first awarded in 1965 and the first accredited graduate program began in 1975.
This is the only accredited institution of Christian higher education between Los Angeles and Sacramento.
