Deep frying the turkey has become a popular alternative to roasting in the recent years. In order to do so, you'd obviously need a turkey fryer.
You have the option of getting a ready packaged set complete with pot, basket and burner or purchasing those items separately. Expect to pay more for stainless steel construction than aluminium.
